Talk about a show stopping front range Colorado location! This beautiful mountain top reservoir just outside of Boulder, Colorado gets the job done! If you're looking for a location for your upcoming photo shoot which offers mountain views, water, and the private feeling of being deep in the mountains without having to drive for hours, and hike for hours, this is it! I highly recommend this spot if you have a session booked in the summer time, between the months of June thru September. It's a little bit of a windy trek to get here, with limited cell phone service at the top, but it's so worth it for the photos you achieve! As you can see!

If you're feeling up to it, you can even walk all the way down to the water and get even more breathtaking views! It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the water, and I recommend wearing comfortable, appropriate hiking shoes for this part, and bringing plenty of water ;) Some day I envision photographing a romantic couples session IN the water at sunset, or a playful family on some fun inter-tubes! I might need to make this happen next summer. Any volunteers?

We didn't make it all the way down to the water this time, but I was very impressed with Alana's ability to walk around a rocky mountain in high heels, and 8 months pregnant at that! This woman is amazing! We had the best time showing off her baby bump with that sparkly pink maternity dress and pink studded high heels, and I'm pretty sure they enjoyed cozying up with each other in that gorgeous white lacy maternity dress for some more intimate photos! I think everyone who passed us on this trail were in awe of how gorgeous this whole session was turning out to be! Everything came together so beautifully, and exactly how we all had envisioned!

These two are going to be the best parents to their little princess this summer! I love their fun loving personalities together, and their love for their baby! And I'm blown away by how these photos turned out, I couldn't ask for anything better for a stunning Colorado maternity session!
