Denver Cherry Blossoms | Mommy Mini's | Denver Family Photography | Denver Photographers | Redro

It's our first sign of color in Colorado, and it comes quick and it's unpredictable. This year the cherry blossom trees bloomed about 3 weeks later than last year. We were all anxiously awaiting them. This year I decided to host mommy mini sessions in Denver with the blossoms as a way to kick off spring! It has been so brown around here lately, I was feeling the itch to get outside and photograph with a fresh spring look.

Maria and her little boy Luca were my first to take part in these photo sessions. I was so excited when she expressed interest because I love this little family! I first met Maria and her husband Steven 3 years ago for Luca's maternity photo's! Its hard to believe it was that long ago, but also feels like SO long ago. We have all grown so much since then! I know I have definitely grown in my business and photography. I had the opportunity to photograph Luca as a newborn and now he is almost 3 years old and going to be a big brother this summer!

Maria is expecting another little boy and I just can't wait to photograph him and this family of 4! Watching them grow is just the best!

We had so much fun this day in Denver for these mommy photo's. I met Maria and Luca at Cheesman park on the most beautiful spring day! It was 65 and sunny and we couldn't have asked for a better day. It was a busy day in the park, people were out and about running, walking their dogs, playing frisbee, listening to music, and the blossoms were popping with color! Luca was full of smiles and I captured those priceless memories for this family, just in time for mother's day!

Before we know it, the blossoms will be gone and it will be summer yet again. Time goes so fast, it is so important to take in the new seasons and enjoy every minute of life and all the little moments in between :)
