I have known Andrea for a few years now. She is actually a photographer herself! We have worked together at a handful of weddings and quickly became friends. It's hard not to become friends with Andrea, this girl is such a ray of sunshine and always brings the positive energy wherever she goes and with anything she does. Being around her is fun, inspiring and she creates this sense of happiness. When I found out she was pregnant I was over the moon excited for her and Michael. They had been hoping for this baby for awhile now, and it was finally becoming a reality for them.

I think it's awesome Michael and Andrea want to be surprised with the babies arrival. Not finding out if they're going to have a boy or girl I'm sure is tempting at times, but the surprise will definitely be worth the wait! I can't wait for the day I get to meet and photograph the little peanut.

I was so honored when Andrea asked me to be her maternity & newborn photographer! Right away I knew I wanted to bring them to this location, one of my very favorites in Boulder, Gross Reservoir. This location is incredible and I knew it would fit Andrea's free spirit personality perfectly. This day we got lucky with a warm February day. We hiked all the way to the bottom of the mountain and back up for the perfect pictures. Andrea is a runner and loves the Colorado outdoors, so even though she was 7 months pregnant, it didn't even phase her, other than a couple pee breaks lol.

Overall, I'd say we accomplished the perfect maternity session for my dear friend. I am thrilled with how her photo's turned out, showing off that cute belly of hers, and I absolutely cannot wait to meet the babe and photograph her or him! Congratulations Michael & Andrea, I know you two will make amazing parents!
