Szewczyk Family | Denver Family Photo's | Boulder Family Photography | Colorado Photographers | Redrock Portrait Design

I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing this family when little Evie was born for her newborn photo's! Today, she is ONE! I can hardly believe how quickly this year flew by. This sweet Christmas baby is as sweet today as she was when she was itty bitty. I remember she slept so well during her very first photoshoot, enough for me to change her into multiple bows, headbands and even a Christmas hat! Today, she is walking. And not even just on solid ground. She was showing off her moves on the mountain terrain in boulder, where we did this photoshoot. I was seriously impressed. I strongly hinted to mom & dad that she needs hiking boots!

Evie was a little less than thrilled to be smiling for the camera, and she HAD to be holding her bright pink cup filled with cheerios. That was a must. One thing's for sure, she loves her dog Taka, and she definitely smiled for him. He was even apart of the newborn photo's! Those two are best buds and it is totally adorable! I tried to get as many candid, lifestyle photo's as possible, because that's what seemed to make her the most happy. Who wouldn't love seeing that adorable smile?

We were so fortunate with this 60 degree Colorado winter day! It hardly felt like Christmas was right around the corner. BUT I always love going to the mountains and photographing in the evergreen trees this time of year. It just feels more fitting. A snowy Christmas would be nice (east coast girl here) but we can't be picky! I love the fact that the sun shines almost every single day here!

Photographing this sweet family is a dream. They are outdoorsy and laid back and compliment my photography style perfectly. I am so blessed they have chosen me to be their photographer and I cannot wait to continue to see them grow! Happy Birthday to this sweet little one! P.s. I had to throw in that photo at the end. Even though she wasn't the happiest, she sure is cute!
