I often get requests from out of towners for family photo's on their Colorado mountain vacations. I have to say, it is one of my favorite things to do. One, I get to travel to the mountains, and I LOVE the mountains! And two, I get to meet families from all over, and hear all about where they come from, and why they chose to visit Colorado. The Zinda family traveled all the way from Austin, Texas. I have never been to Austin, and it is very high on my list of places to see. Yes we talked about the beautiful Colorado scenery, but I also got lots of tips of what to do and see when I visit Austin! I can't wait to go. This family has been to Colorado a few times, mostly to Denver or Breckenridge, but this time they decided to spend a week in Vail, exploring a new place for the 4th of July. They did things like ride the gondola to the top of the mountain, took a jeep tour at 11,000 feet, and explore the shops in the village. We had a blast during their photoshoot. I found the perfect location just outside of Vail village for them. We laughed, we played, threw rocks in the river, and talked during the entire photo's. These two boys were full of energy, but they knew they had to be good for me so they could get ice cream afterwards. And they were. 4 and 6 years old, adorable as ever, especial in their festive red, white & blue outfits! Just perfect for summer family photo's in Vail, Colorado!
