I have a secret love for boy names used for girls. Is Austin a boy name? I'm not even sure. Maybe it's just the uniqueness of it that I love so much. It reminds me of names I grew up with, but not too "old fashion" if you know what I mean. Anyway, this little princess fits her name! During her maternity session, her mommy & daddy actually told me some completely different names they were thinking of for her. So, when I arrived to their home for their newborn session, I saw Austin and said, she will look GREAT in PINK! She is also a spring baby, and just as the blossom trees were starting to bloom, so I thought this would be just perfect for her! Baby Austin is a very petite 5 pounds and slept mostly through her newborn photos. Which I was A-OK with me, since I got to cuddle her into some adorable baby poses, and put my brand new princess crown on her! This family is just so easy and wonderful to photograph, and we can't forget about big (dog) brother, who was in the maternity photo's, so of course we had to include him in the family photo's! I am so happy I had the opportunity to work with this wonderful family twice so far! I can't wait to see little Austin grow, and photograph her through all her milestones!
