Looking for a little more info before booking? I'm glad you're here! Redrock Portrait Design specializes in photographing Colorado's growing families for over 12 years here on the front range. This includes pregnancies, newborns, babies, children, families and lifestyle photography ranging from Castle Rock to Fort Collins, Reunion to Golden and everything in between.

Did you know- the top three reasons people don't book or put off booking a photoshoot? Outfit planning, location planning, and time of day/logistical planning. I am here to help with all of those things! In 2022 I started offering my clients a FREE shoppable style guide to make outfit planning for the entire family a breeze! Not only can you shop latest trends and virtually put together outfits, but it helps you visualize what your entire family will look like together, shoes and accessories included. You can even use pieces that you already own- no need to purchase new if you don't want to! It couldn't get any easier- and may actually be *fun*!

Location planning- Lucky for you, I have an entire Colorado front range location guide for you to look through, complete with photo examples from each location in different seasons, and a paragraph with all you will need to know about that location. Don't want to walk far? Want epic views? Want easy parking? Want a morning session with less crowds? No problem, I have locations north, south, east and west that will serve you and give you a visual into what your photos could look like!

Logistics- This part is all for me to worry about. The only thing you need to worry about is physically getting your family in the car and to the location at the agreed upon time. I take care of all the permit applications, fees, and reservations that make it LEGAL for us to shoot here. I do the back work of figuring out exactly when we need to meet based on the sunrise/sunset time. I will even email you an exact pin of where to park/meet me the day of the photoshoot, and any added details such as bringing extra shoes for muddy weather or longer walks.

I guess I could mention one more detail- so you get to your photoshoot and you don't know what to do or what to do with your hands?!?! Your worried you'll need to have all the tricks and poses up your sleeve otherwise it might be really awkward. Nope! I GOT YOU. If we haven't met yet, we will spend a few minutes chatting first, I want you to feel at least a little comfortable before we get started. I will explain what we're going to do, how the flow of the session will go, etc. It is totally normal to feel awkward, uncomfortable, weird, silly, whatever, when we begin, but I promise you it will be fun and easy once we get going!

*Tip* getting to know your photographer is important! Making sure our personalities & style's match will make the experience that much better.

You want to make sure you are hiring a professional, someone who is experienced and knowledgeable, someone who you enjoy talking with, have similar interests with or personalities, and someone who truly cares!

Q: Where can I see your reviews?

A: Thanks for asking! I LOVE reviews! It is so important when making a decision, to know the kind of experience that my clients have. I know personally, I look at reviews for pretty much anything, so I totally encourage you to see what others have to say about Redrock Portrait Design.

You can find reviews on Google and Facebook! After your session with me is complete, I'd love to hear what you have to say, too!

Q: Are you a full time photographer? Do you carry insurance?

A: Yes and Yes! My love for photography started when I was only a child. I have known my entire life that this is what I want to do. It has been a long and rewarding journey to get where I am today, but I couldn't be more proud and grateful! I have been a full time Denver and Boulder based photographer for over 12 years! I don't like to think that anything could go wrong, but just in case, I do carry equipment & general liability insurance. So I am all good in that department! Thanks for checking!

Q:I sent you an email, what's next?

A: I can't wait to connect! I typically respond to emails within a day or two. If you don't hear back from me within that time frame, I either didn't receive your email, or my reply is sitting in your spam folder. Please first check your spam folder, send me another email directly at info@redrockportraitdesign.com or reach out through social media. I like to get to know you a bit via email, so I ask that you provide me with as many details as possible about what you're looking for. Making sure we are on the same page and a good fit for each other for your photoshoot is important to me. After discussing a few details and securing the date for your photoshoot, I will email you the portrait contract and deposit invoice for booking which can both easily be completed online. Once these are complete, you'll receive the final copy back and will be all booked for your session! Discussing location options and outfit ideas will come in the weeks leading up to your session date, unless you need extra time for planning- just ask, I'm always here to help!

Q:What is your editing turn around time?

A: Your online proofing gallery will be delivered to you via email within 3 to 4 weeks after your session date unless otherwise discussed. Please check your email and spam folder to make sure you didn't miss it. If you didn't receive your gallery within that time frame, please reach out. Once you receive your online gallery, you'll be able to make your images selections! When your purchases have been made, you will receive and email and will be able to download your images directly to your computer and devices!

Q:What if I need to reschedule my session?

A: No problem, I understand things can happen. If you or a family member is ill, have an emergency, or the weather is too bad to photograph in, we can absolutely reschedule your session for another date that will work for everyone. We are all human and I am pretty flexible and understanding.

Have any other questions- just ask!
